What is Children's Hospice Week?
Children’s Hospice Week (15-22 May) is the UK’s biggest awareness and fundraising week for children’s hospice services. Throughout the week, children’s hospices across the UK celebrated hero style.
As well as activities running across the country at a children's hospice near you, the main focus event of the week was an exciting art exhibition in London, called This is my hero. This one off creative display showcased and auctioned artworks created by children who are not expected to reach adulthood, as well as hero masks exclusively designed by celebrities.
The week was co-ordinated by Children’s Hospices UK, working alongside your local children’s hospice.
